- 1. Material was received from Dawson City in 2 shipments - 506 reels in 1978 and 26 reels in 1980. Of these 389 reels, primarily of American fiction, were transferred to Library of Congress for conversion. Reference copies of some of these reels were returned to NFTSA.

Description:
- A Pneumatic Bomb Thrower. New trench gun, which is worked by compressed air, satisfactorily passes all tests under service conditions. Two soldiers on the ground, loading and firing the gun, while others look on. Behind them, two soldiers with pumps (like bicycle pumps) provide the compressed air.
- Making Them Work. Austrian prisoners earn their keep and extra pocket money by working in the French ports. Shot of prisoners loading pipe onto a cart, and shovelling.
- Victory to the Ancre. The laddies who have fought and won. This shows: soldiers marching; a group of soldiers, their helmets on the back of their rifles, raising their rifles. Medium shot of two soldiers, smoking pipes. They are probably officers. They speak to other soldiers.
- Hand Grenade Fighting. A French bombing school near the firing line. Long shot of a row of men throwing grenades, followed by several explosions. Closer shot of men throwing grenades over barbed wire, followed by explosions. This is done twice.
- Montreal, Canada. Spring floods. Numerous shots of flooded streets, stalled cars, horse-drawn carts, people getting into trucks (possibly being evacuated), and people in canoes paddling on city streets.
- [Unknown Royal Visit]. This story does note appear on the film.
