Description:
- Adams and Bertha Bonn are captured by henchmen of the Silent Menace while looking for evidence at the latter's home. Pearl sneaks into the same house through a window. Meanwhile, a high-ranking officer is about to read a letter from Bonn accusing Major Brent of treason. Adams and Bertha Bonn are caught by the spies and Pearl calls for help. Soldiers arrive, shoot up and capture the spies, but not before one of them shoots Adams. While Bertha tries to help Adams, Pearl takes off in persuit of an escaping villain. Elsewhere, followers of the Silent Menace wait for the black flag that will signal uprising. Pearl catches up with her villain as he lowers the Stars and Stripes in order to raise the black flag. She defeats him and rehoists Old Glory to the dismay of the followers who watch from afar. <8mn 34s>
