- 1. Material was received from Dawson City in 2 shipments - 506 reels in 1978 and 26 reels in 1980. Of these 389 reels, primarily of American fiction, were transferred to Library of Congress for conversion. Reference copies of some of these reels were returned to NFTSA.

- Freeport, Long Island - Friars make merry at annual outing. Fadon's Theatrical Clubsmen abandon city for outing at sea shore.
- Washington, D.C. - Engineer Corps passes in review on eve of departure for France. Equipped, ready and determined they pass by the War Department Building where they are reviewed by Secretary Baker.
- Mineola, Long Island - Men of First Reserve Aero Squadron are busy at aviation camp.
