- 1. Material was received from Dawson City in 2 shipments - 506 reels in 1978 and 26 reels in 1980. Of these 389 reels, primarily of American fiction, were transferred to Library of Congress for conversion. Reference copies of some of these reels were returned to NFTSA.

Description:
- Houston, Texas. Bill Brown, Alaska's first mail driver, with his remarkable wolf and dog team, leaves this city on his 25,000 mile journey which is to include every state in the union.
- New York, N.Y. Children of all ages enter the school settlement of East Thrid Street, where under the direction of David Mannes, musician and philospher, they are taught that music is not a trade or a profession but a true means of expression.
- East St. Louis, Ill. Because the city will not appropriate the money needed to improve its roads, city hall is closed and Mayor Chamberlin leads other city officials in doing the work of day labourers.
- Brooklyn, N.Y. Before a crowd of 25,000 Adelphi Academy defeats Poly Prep Institute at Ebbets Field 13 to 7 in a game which virtually settles the Preparatory School Championship of the borough.
- Panama Canal Zone. Secretary of War Garrison and party on a tug boat, view the canal near Cocakacha Slide. Accepted as offical records by the U.S. Government.
- Houston, Texas. Much decorative ingenuity is displayed in the motorcycle parade in the No-Tsu-Oh Carnival.
- Editorial Section. The need of a certain means of identifying automobiles which figure in accidents, has lead to the invention by L.A. Weissenborn of a device to scatter discs.
- New York, N.Y. Twenty-five members of the Swedish Gymnastic Society of Stockholm arrive here to take a tour of the United States. All of the party participated in the 1912 Stockholm Olympic Games.

- 2. Bud Fisher, the creator of the Comic Section, died in 1954 - copyright expired.
- 3. Partial conversion only. The balance of the nitrate was not salvageable in any form. Damage was such that a minimum of half of every frame was missing. No complete titles were legible.
