- 1. Material was received from Dawson City in 2 shipments - 506 reels in 1978 and 26 reels in 1980. Of these 389 reels, primarily of American fiction, were transferred to Library of Congress for conversion. Reference copies of some of these reels were returned to NFTSA.

Description:
- Jersey City, N.J. The dedication of the new million dollar post office is preceeded by a parade in which the police and letter carriers take part.
- Denver, Colo. Fifty young women leave the Central Christian Church to start a novel campaign on behalf of "Church Attendance Day" for which Mayor Perkins issued a proclomation.
- Paris, France. While in the city, King Constantine of Greece poses for the correspondent of Pathé's Weekly.
- Camden, N.J. The United States torpedo boat "Destroyer Dounes", the first of a series of eight now being built, is launced at the plant of the New York Ship Building Company.
- Breslan, Germany. The municipal authorities receive Kaiser Wilhelm with much ceremony when he arrives to visit the statue of Wilhelm I.
- New York, N.Y. Dr. John H. Finley, President of the College of the City of New York, delivers the opening addess at the ceremonies for the ground breaking for a new $200,000 stadium.
- Denver, Colo. Robert Mantell, the prominent Shakesperean actor, and his wife are entertained by many society people while in the city.
- Paris, France. O'Revil, who has been nicknamed "The King of Escapes" jumps from the Bridge of Asnieres while securely bound in chains. He soon frees himself and is unharmed.
- Schenectady, N.Y. At a great saving of time, a hydraulic trcuk is used instead of mules to tow canal barges. The truck frees three barges at a speed of six miles per hour.
- Panama Canal Zone. The lower gates to the upper Miraflores Lock are tested. An idea of the size of the basin may be gained by noting the tiny figures walking on the bottom of the lock.
- Seienach, Austria. Emperor Francis Joseph and the Archduke attend a religious festival at this place.
- Comic Section by Bud Fisher. Jeff puts the rock through a softening process for the benefit of Mutt.
