- 1. Material was received from Dawson City in 2 shipments - 506 reels in 1978 and 26 reels in 1980. Of these 389 reels, primarily of American fiction, were transferred to Library of Congress for conversion. Reference copies of some of these reels were returned to NFTSA.

- San Francisco: Boys Scramble After Pennies Tossed to Them By Revelers. Six "Queens" from Butte County distribute ten thousand coppers to lads who follow special celebration at Panama Exposition.
- Shorncliffe Camp, England: Princess Reviews Men About to Leave For Trenches at Front. Princess Alexander of Teck, wife of Governor General Designate of Canada, inspects Canadian troops about to start for lines in France.
- Belgian Base Near Havre, France: Men Learn to Handle Mounts Near Firing Lines of Soldiers. Recruits for cavalry are given special instruction in horsemanship. They are said to equal the famous Cossacks.
- Paris: French Airman After Escape as Prisoner of War Visits Paris. M. Gilbert, captured while bombarding Zeppelin sheds, returns to Paris, but is ordered to Switzerland because after escape to that country he gave his parole.
- New York: Columbia Squad Dons Canvas Armor For Gridiron Practice. Candidates for football team are given strenuous workout by coaches. Many report for first practice on athletic field.
- Society Note: The Melancholy Days Have Come and Sad Hippos Go Indoors. Mrs. Murphy and her family members of New York's Central Park elite, have returned from summer house to "town quarters"
- Medford, Mass: 3 Steeple Jacks Race 300 Feet to Ground on Wireless Mast. Structural iron workers clamber down steel tower at Tufts College Station in mad contest cheered on by student spectators.
- Princeton, New Jersey: President Casts Vote For Candidates in Primary Election. Leaving official cares behind, President Wilson journeys from Washington to take part in election of candidates for state and county offices.
- New York: Empire State Troops Perform Maneouvers Before Thousands. National Guard is mobilized at Van Coutlandt Park for mimic war under eyes of Governor Whitmas and staff officers and throng of spectators.
