Description:
- Martha Gorham was born at the cost of her mother's life. Westie Phillips was born in a fisherman's cabin. Grown to womanhood, Martha is admired by Hary Arnold as she plays tennis. Her father, Silas Gorham, is nearby and notices Arnold's interest in Martha. Phillips works at the beach. He goes out in a rowboat. Martha, who is visiting at the seashore falls asleep and is stranded by the tide. Phillips rescues her.
