- 1. Material was received from Dawson City in 2 shipments - 506 reels in 1978 and 26 reels in 1980. Of these 389 reels, primarily of American fiction, were transferred to Library of Congress for conversion. Reference copies of some of these reels were returned to NFTSA.

Title:
The Girl of the Northern Woods : [incomplete]
Description:
- Shows a tale of romance and jealousy in the northern woods. The girl spurns the advances of a "half-breed" who comes to her cabin with a gift of fur pelts. Later, the same suitor attacks the girl, but she is saved by a young surveyor. The girl and surveyor become friends and eventually fall in love. The "half-breed" sees this relationship and jealously plans an ambush for the surveyor. Unfortunately, it is the surveyor's friend who is shot and the "half-breed" pins the blame on his rival. When the surveyor is captured for shooting his friend, the girl helps him to escape. <6mn>
