- 1. Material was received from Dawson City in 2 shipments - 506 reels in 1978 and 26 reels in 1980. Of these 389 reels, primarily of American fiction, were transferred to Library of Congress for conversion. Reference copies of some of these reels were returned to NFTSA.

Description:
- The Davis Ocean-Going Log Raft at Vancouver, BC. Logs being hauled together to form raft.
- Turf Classic Between Sir Barton and Man-O-War. Account of the race between the Canadian owned horse, Sir Barton, and Man-o-War held at Kenilworth track in Windsor, Ontario. The horses are seen in their specially guarded stables. Large crowds arriving on foot, by automobile and train for the event which is won by Man-O-War. Race officials are Frank Nelson and Harry Morrissey. Sir Barton's trainer is Guy Bedwell.
- The Brooklyn Robins and the Cleveland Indians in a World Series Match. Large crowds gather in Cleveland to see the game. Shots of Cleveland dug-out and Brooklyn pitcher, Grimes. Scenes of large crowds gathered in New York Streets to watch score boards. The occasion is the third game of the World Series.
- School and University Sports Meets in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Shots from the annual Sunday School Boys sports meet in Winnipeg. Boys seen participating in running, jumping and shotput events. Medical students from the University of Manitoba compete in inter-class meet. Students participate in running, high-jump and discuss events.
- 24th Battalion Colours Ceremony. Veterans of the 24th Battalion march towards the Church of St. James the Apostle in Montreal. Major Bales knocks on the door according to the prescribed ritual as a photographer snaps pictures. The colours are brought into the church and the veterans follow as a crowd stands by.
- Aerial League of Canada Opens a New Airport. Pan shot of crowd assembled for the occasion. Two aviators who will participate in the race planned for the event pose for the camera. Shot of League officials including Mr. E. Greenwood, League president. Three airplanes take off for the race. A plane is shown returning. CU of the pilot in the cockpit.
