- 1. Material was received from Dawson City in 2 shipments - 506 reels in 1978 and 26 reels in 1980. Of these 389 reels, primarily of American fiction, were transferred to Library of Congress for conversion. Reference copies of some of these reels were returned to NFTSA.

Description:
- Wrestling in the Snow. Two men, Karl Van Wurden and Bamford with their coats on, shake hands, remove their coats, and begin wrestling in the snow. The bout was held in Ottawa. They continue wrestling. The scene fades to black.
- Toronto. Aeroplane goes a-skiing. Taking off from an ice surface is greatly simplified by novel use of skis in place of wheels. The plane is shown on snowy ground. A man installs skis on a Curtis JN-4 "Jenny" plane. There is a close-up of the skis underneath the plane. The plane taxiis for take-off, flies about, and lands on a snowy surface. It taxies toward the camera. Mr. Ericson, the inventor, and Captain T.H. McCrudden, the pilot, pose. They wear pilot helmets.
- French Canadian Ski Club Try-Outs. Members of Le Club de Ski Mont-Royal d'Amérique compete for club representation at the annual Quebec jumping championships. Shown are several young men negotiating a tiny jump made out of snow as a crowd watches. The footage is taken from the top of the hill, the half-way point and at the bottom of the hill.
- Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. This shows two men aquaplaning around battleships in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. They are shown from the back of the boat which is towing them. The two men stand on a board and do a variety of tricks. Two Phillipinos put on a boxing bout as sailors watch. Items laid out on the deck of a warship are shown in a panning shot prior to inspection. A group shot shows thousands of U.S. sailors waving at the camera.
- Men in the Limelight. Lord Grey, British ambassador to the U.S., "whose letter regarding Britain's acceptance of the Senate's treaty reservations has aroused world interest", is shown in a medium shot and then in close-up. He removes his cap. A portfolio (scroll) is presented by Carter Glass to the new head of the Treasury Department, former Secretary of Agriculture, Houston. There is a medium shot of the scroll being handed from Glass to Houston. Houston then sits at a desk and signs some papers. Edwin T. Meredith is shown being sworn in as the new Secretary of Agriculture.
- Burlington, Vermont: Scores miraculously escape death -- a derailed sleeper plunges into icy lake as mercury registers 38 below zero. Footage shot from ground level shows a derailed train car, followed by a panning shot the length of the derailed train. The deep snow and thick ice on the frozen lake saved the passengers' lives. Also shown is a panning shot of the wrecked under-carriage, the inside of a sleeper compartment and a final view of the wrecked train.
- San Francisco, California: Far West welcomes Pershing. America's war idol receives California's heartiest greeting as he reaches the Gold Gate. Footage shows medium shot of various dignitaries walking, a close-up of General Pershing, soldiers marching as a crowd looks on, and Pershing arriving on a podium.

The first story, about a wrestling match in the snow, is probably of the event in Ottawa on 20 February 1920, when Karl Van Wurden or Worden of Ottawa and British Bramford, of London, wrestled in the snow at Lansdowne Park in 8 below weather (see Fox Movietone News items 7301-8826 and 7301-9260). (Notes for this Dawson story spell the name Bamford, not Bramford, but it is spelled Bramford in the Fox description.)
