  • Revelstoke, B.C. Skiing Champions Compete at Revelstoke Winter Carnival. The events shown are as follows: The British Columbia Championship seven-mile cross-country ski race showin in progress, skiers crossing the finish line, and the winner, S. Steinwall of Chicago (he is shown in medium long shot); the professional ski jumping contest showing skiers coming over the jump, from three different angles, a competition which was won by Anders Haugen; the amateur ski jumping contest won by Canadian champion Nels Nelson, showing a series of medium and long shots, from various angles, of skiers going over the jump and the jumps being measured; and a group of champions from Canada and the United States. Nine skiers pose for the camera. This large tournament brings together amateur and professional competitors.
  • Recreation for Children of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The intertitle explains that "All work and no play will make Jack a dull boy", says School Commissioners of Sault Ste. Marie, so they provide a healthy means of recreation for the kiddies. Children are shown sliding down specially-constructed ice slides, with a side view and then a front view of them sliding mostly on their feet, several shots of children sliding on a hill, and one skier.
  • The Princess Anne Breaks in Two While Aground Off Rockaway Point, New York. The ship ran aground and was on a sandbar for eight days. It broke amidships due to the sands shifting beneath it. There is a travelling shot of the Princess Anne listing heavily. There is a close shot of the hull of the Princess Anne broken in two off Rockaway Point as well as interior shots of the damage through the decks, gaping holes inside and on deck, and efforts to recover the cargo. Two men throw barrels up from the hold into the water. A small ship, alongside, is loaded with burlap bags.
  • New World's Record Set for Two Wheelers. A twenty-five mile two-wheeler race establishes a new world's record in Phoenix, Arizona, for the championship of the southwest. There is footage of the start line, with a crowd seated in bleachers in the background. The race begins. There are several shots of the race in progress. An intertitle reads "The leader has the advantage -- no "smoke screen" to mar his way." There is a shot of the leader rounding a corner, raising a huge cloud of dust. Several riders follow. Next, the same thing is shown from a different angle. There are two shots of a motorcycle going over a small ramp.
  • Government Dismantles Camp Funston in Fort Riley, Kansas. Shown are workers dismantling buildings, taking the roof off a barracks. Camp Funston is shown two years previously when it was a large military training centre with many buildings. There is a shot of a march-past of troops. The government sold the lumber from the dismantled camp for $56.000. There are shots of lumber, pipes and other materials in large piles, as the workers dismantle the buildings.
  • Welcome of General Pershing in Phoenix, Arizona. General Pershing gets a large ovation from crowds as he visits Arizona during his tour of the U.S. Large crowds line the streets as General Pershing and his troops march by. Pershing is shown in an open car, waving. Another shot shows him from a different angle and closer range.
  • Seventy-third Birthday of Thomas A. Edison at Orange, New Jersey. Thomas Edison is shown visiting the plant at Orange, N.J. on his 73rd birthday. Edison is shown with several other people, walking hear a fence. A sign on the fence reads "Silver Spring Skating -- Free Admission". Edison is shown at his factory, with the punch-in clock in the background Employees pass by as he stands outside the factory. Women employees toss and hand him flowers as they walk by. Next, the male employees pass by. Edison meets with an employee of 50 years, John Ott. Ott, seated in a chair, is carried in front of the group of assembled employees. There is a close-up of his face. Edison is also shown working in his laboratory, "where the most remarkable inventions of the age were made". An intertitle says that during the war, Edison performed valuable service for the navy. Edison is shown pouring liquids from beakers. There is a close-up of Edison posing for the camera.
