- 1. Material was received from Dawson City in 2 shipments - 506 reels in 1978 and 26 reels in 1980. Of these 389 reels, primarily of American fiction, were transferred to Library of Congress for conversion. Reference copies of some of these reels were returned to NFTSA.

Description:
- Kiwanis Club Holds Outing on Isle Perrot, Quebec. An old-time picnic is keenly enjoyed by the Kiwanis Club of Montreal. The footage shows: a sail boat and a power boat pulling away from the shore, people on a boat, two shots of a large group of men, women and children eating a picnic in the woods and playing games, having races such as a burlap bag race, a leap-frog race and an egg-balancing race, and a panning shot of a large crowd posing.
- The King Visits Scotland. This shows King George V visiting Scotland. Large crowds greet his motorcade as he arrives in Edinburgh. A procession of cars moves down a street lined with people. There are more shots of the large crowd. The motorcade passes through the new gate to Holyrood Palace. The King and his retinue attend the Service of the Most Ancient and Noble Order of the Thistle at St. Gile's Cathedral. Footage shows a procession of dignitaries in full regalia such as cloaks and feathered hats, walking. Various people shake hands. The procession enters the church and comes out. Queen Mary is clearly seen but the King is not. .
- Wellington, New Zealand. A Royal welcome indeed! The whole city turns out to greet the Prince of Wales. This presents footage of the Prince of Wales visiting Wellington, New Zealand. It shows: longshot of crowds waving flags, the Prince arriving (he is wearing a military uniform) and saluting the crowd; a closer shot of the crowd; a long shot of the Prince shaking hands with dignitaries; and a smiling Prince shaking hands with his left hand.
- Portage la Prairie, Manitoba: Prime Minister Arthur Meighen visits his home town. He arrives in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba to deliver his first formal address as Prime Minister. He gets off a train and climbs into an open car. Seen is a float in the welcoming parade, the Prime Minister and his family seated in an official car bedecked with Union Jacks, There is a shot of cars and float in a parade of welcome, passing the Albion Hotel. Premier Norris of Manitoba and Mayor Metcalfe of Portage La Prairie deliver addresses of welcome. They are shown on a platform, along with Meighen. There is a shot of Meighen speaking to the assembled crowd.
- New York City. Fight danger of smallpox epidemic! This is about the start of a campaign of vaccination against small pox in New York City. Dr. Copeland, health commissioner of New York, removes his jacket, rolls up a sleeve and receives the first vaccine from a nurse and a doctor. A large group of children arrive at a building and two children receive vaccinations.
- Reducing the H.C. of L. Animated cartoon by Bert Green wherein a man is sold a suit that does not fit. He is shown in a clothing store. He asks for one of the specials marked down from $300 to $30. The salesman returns with a jacket. The saleman manhandles the jacket to make it look like it fits. The man buys it. He tells his wife he saved $270. He disappears behind a screen to put on the suit. He says that the pants fit tight under the arms. He appears in the ill-fitting suit. His wife collapses on seeing him in it.
- First Coast-to-Coast Airmail Flight. The first transcontinental airmail flight takes off from Central Park, New York City for San Francisco. Seen are: several Junkers F-13 on the field and the corrugated skin of one of the aircraft.; a row of planes with propellers turning; a closer shot of some of the planes and a group of the pilots being briefed. Next is a medium shot of two men on the wing of the plane. One loads a bag, presumably the mail. He gets in, followed by the second man. The pilot is in the cockpit, which is forward of the cabin. Captain Eddie Rickenbacker, seated in the open cockpit, waits. He is described as the official courrier. Another intertitle says "Rapid progress of air-mail service makes it possible to reduce time of delivery across continent from 5 to 2½ days". There are two shots of a plane taxiing and two planes in the air.
- Prague, Czechoslovakia. A nation of stalwart athletes! Army of young men and women form a vast army as they take part in athletic exhibit at annual Fete of Sokols. Iris out. High angle shot of young Czech women in matching uniforms marching. Long, high angle shot as the athletes parade, forming various patterns. An intertitle says: "President Masaryk of Czecho-Slovakia is proud of the physical status of the nation's youth."
