- 1. Material was received from Dawson City in 2 shipments - 506 reels in 1978 and 26 reels in 1980. Of these 389 reels, primarily of American fiction, were transferred to Library of Congress for conversion. Reference copies of some of these reels were returned to NFTSA.

Description:
- The ex con, Tim Clancy, returns home from prison and is greeted by his mother and his sweetheart. He applies for a job in the want ads and gets it.His employer, Preston the baker, doesn't know about Tim's past. Quinn, a detective, tells Preston about Tim who is promptly fired. Preston's wife receives her mother's wedding ring from her sister and puts it on her finger. Tim, unable to find a job, is compelled to accept charity in the form of a cake given to him by Mrs. Preston. <14mn>
